The Evergreens • River Stage
Who Are The Evergreens?
We're an indie folk duo hailing from Johnstown, Pennsylvania. As full-time musicians, we perform at a wide variety of special events and locations across Pennsylvania and surrounding states (but we're always up for traveling further)!
So why did we choose the name, 'The Evergreens?' While we do love Christmas and the smell of cedar, we call ourselves The Evergreens because of the songs we play. We cover hits that have stood the test of time and have never “gone out of season” - much like evergreen trees. We put our own indie/folk twist on hits ranging from the 1950s-the 1990s (with a few modern songs in the mix). This allows us to connect with all people in an audience - young and old.

Zac Grace Music
“Singer/Songwriter of modern country with a traditional twist!”
Grace started his music career as a drummer for bands in the South Central Pennsylvania area. Along the way, he has opened for Montgomery Gentry, Kip Moore, Frankie Ballard, Eli Young Band, Brothers Osborne, Jason Michael Carroll, Joe Nichols, BlackHawk, Eric Paslay, Dwight Yoakam, Chris Young, Cassadee Pope and Charlie Daniels Band. His passion for writing led him to begin making trips to Nashville. Grace has now launched his own music career as an artist and songwriter.
I was blown away the first time I heard the way Zac turned a good song he’d written into his own unique brand of rock-infused country and knew there was something very special about him. His years as a drummer support his songwriting and music production choices and are a big part of his ability to bring something new to the country music landscape. Having the opportunity to be a part of his journey in this business is a privilege,” says Nashville Cool! Partner, Nancy Deckant.
Grace says, “Getting a publishing deal is a career milestone. I owe so much credit to the co-writers that have shown me the ropes and my friends and family back home in Central Pennsylvania that has supported me this far. Being signed with Nashville Cool! allowed me to set my sights on many bigger things.” Grace was the first artist/writer signed to Nashville Cool.

The A’Cappella Kinda Guys • Gazebo Stage
The A’Cappella Kinda Guys is made up of Jim Vanvleet, Chuck O’Donnell, Jeff Welch, and Dennis Tice. The group was formed in California back in 1987 while the members were in the Air Force. “We formed a group just for a talent show,” says Tice. “We won the talent show, went on eventually to the SAC, the Strategic Air Command, and won that and we won the Air Force talent show…we thought it was hilarious,” laughed Tice.
They have known each other for over 35 years and only see each other about once a year for just four or five days at a time. During that time, they perform and write original songs about people in Bedford County and the surrounding areas. They sing covers and originals, harmonizing like old friends and bringing smiles to all who hear them.

Velveeta • River Stage
Velveeta was formed in the summer of 1995 in State College, PA as pretty much a joke, with the intention of playing occasionally doing only the finest in cheesy 80's music. By the following spring, we were playing 3 nights a week and the joke apparently was on us. Since then we've played all over PA and East Coast in all kinds of situations (very little we haven't done at this point).
We've been through a couple of personnel changes but as of 2008 we have regrouped with 4 original members and are currently quite simply a lean mean rocking machine.
